Title:

Recent Developments in Software Bug Report Maintenance

Abstract:

For large scale software projects, bug reports play an important role in software development and maintenance. Because many bug reports may be received daily, computational intelligence techniques are leveraged to tackle various processing issues. In this talk, the background of bug tracking will be first introduced. Then, the recent research developments on two issues are presented: (1) detecting duplicate bug reports, and (2) predicting the severity of bug reports. Some experimental results are also provided to demonstrate the current research progress.
