National Dong Hwa University held a series of activities for its 26th anniversary celebration – NDHU International Cultural Night on November 17th 2020. This was an annual event for overseas and local students to show and share their cultures between each other.
This year, NDHU invited the Resident Ambassador of St. Christopher and Nevis, Her Excellency Jasmine Huggins, the Resident Ambassador of Belize, Her Excellency Diane C. Haylock, the Resident Ambassador of Tuvalu, Her Excellency Limasene Teatu, the Resident Minister Counsellor of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Mr. Elroy Wilson, and the Executive Director of the Foundation for Scholarly Exchange (FSE, also known as Fulbright Taiwan), Dr. Randall L. Nadeau, and the Secretary General of Taiwan International Cooperation and Development Fund (Taiwan ICDF) , Ambassador Timothy T. Y. Hsiang, the Chief Executive Officer of Center for Global Affairs and Science Engagement (GASE Taiwan) , Mrs. Ming-hsun CHUNG and other distinguished guests, to experience the multicultural vitality and the beauty of Hualien with passionate teachers and students.
Since many of the guests visited the campus for the first time, international students from CSIE department perfectly transformed as NDHU Ambassadors to accompany with these VIP guests to participate in the event and experience the daily life of NDHU.
