TaiwanICDF Scholarship Programs at NDHU CSIE

Learn about the NDHU–TaiwanICDF partnership, its International Bachelor and Master Programs, eligibility, application steps, and how to get in touch.

Overview

The Taiwan International Cooperation and Development Fund (TaiwanICDF), through its International Education and Training Division, has long been committed to sharing Taiwan’s development experiences with partner countries worldwide. The aim is to foster human resource capacity building and cultivate talented professionals who can contribute to their home countries’ sustainable development.

To achieve this goal, the TaiwanICDF offers Higher Education Scholarships in collaboration with selected Taiwanese universities—collectively known as the Taiwan International Cooperation Alliance (TICA). Through these programs, scholarship recipients pursue degree studies in Taiwan while participating in intercultural and professional activities that strengthen both academic and international engagement.

NDHU–TaiwanICDF Partnership

The Department of Computer Science and Information Engineering (CSIE) at National Dong Hwa University (NDHU) proudly joined the Taiwan International Cooperation Alliance (TICA) in January 2014. Since then, NDHU CSIE has served as an academic home for outstanding international students under the TaiwanICDF Scholarship Program.

At present, NDHU CSIE hosts two TaiwanICDF parther programs:

  • International Bachelor Program of Computer Science and Information Engineering — a four-year, all-English undergraduate program in computer science and information engineering.
  • International Master Program in Artificial Intelligence and Innovative Applications — a cutting-edge, fully Ennglish-taught graduate program designed to cultivate global talents in AI, data science, and intelligent systems.
